A copy of Railwatch was buried in the foundations of the new Eastcroft train maintenance depot at Nottingham in November. By Christmas, the steel framework was complete, roof and wall cladding nearly finished, and interior work progressing rapidly. The new depot will facilitate maintenance of Central's growing fleet of diesel multiple units used on the intensive network of services radiating from Nottingham.
