
A striking new RDS recruitment leaflet has been produced by executive officer Nat Taplin. It promises a journey from car culture to rail future. On the other side is campaign information and a membership application form.
The response is being tested in an advertising insert in Rail magazine. Over the next 12 months RDS will be printing 50,000 leaflets in a bid to boost our membership. Our aim is to have 5,000 members by the year 2000.
Our contacts in America have told us that the new Dallas light rail system has attracted 300% more passengers than expected. People like trains!
