Local Action

London and Home Counties

Marginal chance Many crucial election battle fronts will be in the South East and we want to play our part. If you live in a marginal constituency, please contact me on 0181 831 9491 and we can keep transport near the top of the election agenda.

Connections Graham Larkbey has completed a survey of information available at stations where the Underground and other rail services link. We aim to use the survey to campaign for better information at all rail stations.

Into orbit A key issue for the London-wide RDS forum is orbital links. We aim to make the planners take bold action to improve services. London cannot afford schemes like the Docklands Light Railway. Details of forum meetings from Keith Dyall on 0181 959 7147.

Finance London Underground is conducting a public opinion survey on future schemes and how to finance them. Please pick up a copy from stations and respond.

Politics Speakers from the Labour party were invited to the South West division meeting in February, following an earlier meeting attended by Liberal Democrats.

West link We hope to launch a user group for the West London line, building on the recent good news about new stations.

Media plea We are hoping to find a press officer for the branch. If you would like to help, please contact me at 0181 831 9491.
